Thesyre: Exist!

Keeping with the original intent and spirit of metal, Thesyre’s
32+ minute track ‘Exist!’is a militantly individualistic tour de force.
Quite simply, it rocks! Armed with rapier wit and a diabolically elegant
vox, Eric M. Syre taunts, demands and challenges us to question our
existence. Elements of thrash, blakk n’roll, punk, heavy metal, industrial
and black metal radiate a sound of where this band has been,
where they are now and where they may be headed. Enter intro- a punk
march drumbeat off in the distance, quickly transforms into thundering
pounding defiance. Early into this long rollicking serpentine track, at
approximately where the seriously headbanging ‘thrash noir’ kicks in,
one becomes aware that metal agility is a plus while attempting to stay
in stride with the brutal changes of pace on this darkest of night rides.
Black metal interluding in the midst of pondering infinity acoustically,
brings us full circle within the ritual of the labyrinth that is ‘Exist!’.

Music and lyrics reflect the unique and unpretentious “existentialist”
philosophy of vocalist/bassist Eric M. Syre, an artistically complex man
of no ordinary ilk. To experience this release is highly recommended
