Lord Belial: Revelation
by ©2007 Scarlet Metal & www.whoresofchaos.com

Through ‘Revelation’ Lord Belial triumphantly disperse their own blakk version
of chaos upon the world. In ethereal dissonance the intro unleashes blasphemous
incantations as the end begins with the breaking of the ‘7th Seal’ thus revealing
the wonder of the ‘Ancient Splendor’ in it’s infinite layers of instrumentation and
dark voices. Contrasting vocals that seem to rise from below by stellar production
enhance the atmosphere making it both eerie and fierce throughout this release.
Over a raw blakk metal base, ‘Death as Solution’ has stunning elements of heavy
metal woven into vox and guitar. ‘Vile Intervention’ is a slashing double edged
sword in slow motion emanating the desolate beauty of early Dissection melded
with some harsher modern elements. The thundering ‘Black Wings Of Death’
depart on an epic flight before the last of the light are extinguished
in the final agonizing moments of ‘Grievance’.

Highly recommended to fans of melodic Swedish blakk metal.
